Here are a few of our favorite recipes using some of our favorite sweets!
Maggie’s Mountain
6 Kilvert & Forbes
brownies with walnuts
1 quart vanilla ice cream
1 cup hot fudge
1 cup warm caramel
lots of whipped cream
1 cup chopped walnuts, chocolate chips, and jimmies
Heat the brownies in
a toaster oven or microwave until piping hot.
Warm the hot fudge and caramel in a small saucepan or in the microwave.
Place one brownie in a bowl and top with 3 generous scoops of vanilla
ice cream.
Drizzle with hot fudge and caramel sauces.
Add a heaping dollop of whipped cream and top with a great big handful
of walnuts, chocolate chips, and jimmies.
Makes: 6 brownie mountains
Maggie’s Ice Cream Chippers
Maggie’s grandchildren remember eating these treats while sitting in the rocking chair on the porch at her house. There were always a few Chippers waiting in the freezer when they came to visit!

Chippers chocolate chip cookies
1 quart vanilla ice cream
1 cup chopped walnuts, chocolate chips, and jimmies
Sandwich 2 Chippers together with a heaping scoop (or two!) of vanilla
ice cream.
Roll the edges of the sandwich in chocolate chips, jimmies, or chopped
nuts.
Wrap each Maggie’s Ice Cream Chipper in several layers of plastic
wrap and freeze for 1-2 hours.
Makes: 6 Ice Cream Chippers
